as to the vibration, check the u joints in the shaft between trans and transfer case, you can have a mess if this comes apart at speed and they do. put transfer in neutral and run the rpm up in 4th and 5th to see if the vibration is still there. run it up to 2300 rpm in eact gear, if it vibrates the cause is in front of transfer, if not it is after as in both rear driveshafts or tires
