I notice that on a lot of auctions for vehicles there is a pallet under the front of the vehicle What is the purpose of this, Does this meen that the fluids have been drained and if so what fluids do they drain and what ones do they not drain. :?:

I've bought two Cucvs with the fluids drained. Both had ALL Fluids including both axles, crankcase, trans, P/s pump, W/S washer fluid and brake fluid from the master cylinder. funny thing is the one still had diesel in the fuel tank!

they usually have pads on top of the pallet to catch any fluids that may or may not be leaking from the vehicle. Justa a way to keep em off the ground. Most truck at Chambersburg & Mechanicsburg that I have seen, have them under the trucks. Just an environmental precaution.
