Head gasket leak? Need help

Ok as you can see in the pictures my deuce is showing some rust on the rear of the engine on the passenger side. Last trip around town had some leakage on the ground. It wasn't green and smelled of water. I just ran the truck and its not leaking, checked the oil and it is not milky. Could this be a result of rain water dripping in between the hood and cab and could a puddle have built up enough to cause a fake leak when I parked.
