The Problem: You can find 24v headlight bulbs but with the standard three-prong base, not the mil. spec. connectors. Or, you've converted your MV over to 12v but don't want to hack up the G.I. wiring harness at the headlights.
The Solution: Acme Headlight Adapters. Get a pair of these NAPA pigtails and crimp on the mil. spec. ends and you're good to go. NAPA has two three-wire pigtails listed but this p/n has the heavier gauge wire in them.
I won't take credit for this idea; only for doing the legwork to track down the best parts combinations to use.
