Welcome aboard. There's been a change in the rules. Did you know it's mandatory to pull that M105 through lower Manhattan during rush hour with a Yugo as the tow vehicle?

Lance
"But officer, Lance said it was mandatory" (as New Yorks Finest methodically apply the Cocobolo shampoo to my head:hammer:).

I'll post pics and an AAR sfter I get bailed out.

You just outside of Syracuse? I've got kin up in your neck of the woods.

The tongue weight (and total weight) on these trailers will be a bit much for a dakota... you might want to add extra springs and drive ! really ! carefully as your braking distance will be significantly longer. And set your pintle as high as it can go.

The best thing to tow the M105 with is a deuce !!!:p

Also get yourself a cheap set of magnetic trailer lights from Harbor Freight (or Napa/Pep Boys/etc.). And then lock them down to the trailer with some duct tape and/or zip ties. And I recommend you not tow it without a valid plate.

Welcome to OD fever - there is no cure. Only way to control it is to buy more OD items.

And dont forget the cheapest (and completely legal) way to register your trailer is in Maine (and no annual inspection required!). It costs a fraction of NY registration per year.

I'm weighing (ha ha) my options (extra leaf springs, maybe air shocks or bags). I think I'll have a bit of time to do any necessary mods (I just submitted the EUC).

Can't afford the Deuce. Yet.

Harbor Freight trailer lights FTW!
