Help no brakes

Hi All , Im newbie to the forum, i have a G506 tractor G-7113, the brakes are hydraulic with a hydrovac system, my tralier is a 5 ton stake and platform semi trailer 1944 has air brakes how can i brake the truck and trailer together . any ideas please.

As long as you have a souce of air from the tractor when you push the brake pedal (air lines with glad hands that you can hook to the trailer), you should be able to actuate the trailer brakes.

The issue is how much air reserve you have if you have to brake on a long downhill grade.

If the trailer has straight air brakes it will require more air than one with air over hydrolic brakes.
