help on m422 shocks

I was told that parts number RR94008 was the shock for the front of the m422. So I went to Advance Auto Parts to get them.
They cross referenced them to a Monroe 59324 , but when there compressed
there about 3 inched longer that the old ones off my m422.
Is this going to be a problem or will this be alright?

I used Monroe's. These numbers are similar to the Mite shock specs in the Mite Tech Manuals. I have installed, but not driven yet, expect they may be a bit stiffer.

Fronts -- 5753 (10.375" - 16.750") -- Sensa-Trac - mid 50's Mercurys

Rear -- 555003 (9.625 - 14.75) - Gas Magnum RV/trailer shock
