I have two wheels that each have one wheel stud that won't torque, because it rotates freely. I've ordered new wheel studs from Midwest Military Equipment, which should arrive in a few days.
While I imagine that to change one I hammer it out, put the new one in place and pull it up with an impact on a wheel nut . . . I sure would like to have some confirmation or advice on how to change them.
There seems to be a flat on the head of the stud. Do I need to carefully orient that flat? Maybe orient the flat and hammer the stud in from the back side?
Help!
