Howiter, M-60 tank, and F-86 pics

Pics from a trip the the Michigan Thumb area to get tractor tires. The howitzer was at a local VFW and the M-60 and jet was at the Michigan Military Museum in Frankenmuth MI. It was closed but I will get checking back at the place later in the month. The M-60 seems to have come from the same battalion as the one I posted from Ypsilanti Michigan.

The museum in Frankenmuth is "Michigan's Own" dedicated to the medal of honor winners and other VIPs, like astronauts, from the state. Has interesting artifacts from MOH recipients from the Civil War on, along with uniforms, flight suits, pictures, letters, etc, from many other people. Very interesting place to visit.

On the M60, the 38 Infantry Division (ID), 1st Battalion (BN), 246 Armor Brigade is the armor unit based in Michigan with units located at various places. Not sure where Alpha (A) Company is. They went from M60s to M1A2s a few years back. Now, with a massive reoganization of the state's Guard forces, they're getting shuffled around to other jobs or other places.
