Bad seals, overhaul it… i replaced mine with a prince hand pump that and a second valve will get you a far simpler, more reliable and faster system for cab and spare…

Vapor from the vent is considered normal operation and is mentioned in the manual as well as PS Magazine articles. Read the -10 soldier.
