Because of my work schedule I have been unable to work on the truck so I took it to a friend's shop nearby to get the fluids changed (tranny, xfer case, diffs, etc.). He told me that I have a spool in the rear end instead of a locker. I asked him if he was sure and he said yes. I had been noticing when I leave my driveway that the inside tire has been tearing up the gravel no matter how slow I go. So I have a spool in the rear and an open diff in the front. That's too bad because I wanted to use her for a daily driver, but I don't want a spool on asphalt.
