Loaded 2 wheel trailer - Odum GA -> Taswell IN

Hi All,
I have a special mil trailer weighing #9000 that needs to get
moved from Odum GA to Taswell IN sometime during the summer.
It is roadworthy, so something like a deuce could pull it, however, it
has air over hydraulic brake system.
Please PM me if you can help. I don't have a lot of money, but can
certainly pitch in for fuel.

I can't help with the transportation but if it needs to be moved from its present location I live 40 miles from Odum and could bring it here to the farm and keep it for you till you can make arrangments. I am at Statesboro Ga.

I heard through the grapevine this is a WW2 laundry trailer. If it is was it build by John Deere. They built quite a few. My other passion is antique John Deere. Let me know as I would at least like to see it and also try to talk you out of it.

Been busy wrenching on my CUCV. The dimensions are 16' x 8' x 8'
according to the TM. It is currently at a fellow Mver's house and I'll have to find
out if he has a way to lift it 5' . The problem there is that there won't be any
lift at the other end, unless you are ofering to bring it to CA for me

Here is the info I have on the trailer. I still am not sure which model it is.
I doubt if it is WWII vintage. It had been destined for the hospital ship Bob Hope
from what I've heard. I believe the unit is NOS. Even comes with a cd. So far
all I have seen is pictures. There is a remote possibility that I would sell it,
but I really don't want to. Thankyou for your offer to store it for me. I might
even take you up on it if I can't get it transported.

we would have to get it off too, so I probably won't be able to help. alwo It won't fit inside the sidekit. All my trailers have sides except one.

The only problem then is at the other end. Ofcourse if he decides to come all the way to CA, then it won't be a problem.

I don't know where taswell in. is but i live in evansville,in.possibly work out a road trip and meet some one half way?

Taswell is 62 Miles NE of Evansville.

Any volunteers for someone to pull the
trailer halfway from Odum GA and meet up with Lance?

Remember, this is a mil trailer with air over hydraulic brakes and a lunette
hookup. It weighs 9000 pounds.

I looked at google earth and it appears that the following route
is reasonably level in that there doesn't appear to be any
mountains. However I am not familiar with that part of the country.

I could probably go as far as MT.Eagle Tennesee which is between nashville,and chattanooga,tn.

If we don't have to do it real soon,need a few weeks to get my tranny rebuilt,new seals and bearings.Other than that i could run down there on a weekend no sweat.

If they bring it through alabama,I could meet them in decateur(not shure how to spell it)Alabama. which is just south of the tn, state line.

after that i can deliver it to taswell,in.

If we could organize this i'm sure we could get quite a bit of other stuff moved between all the guys involved.

Great, that leaves 431 miles between Odum GA and Decatur AL by relatively flat road. Hopefully someone else will come on board to do that part or a portion thereof.
