I picked up this antenna base at a hamfest. The mount will fit directly on my M998. It has no part number or placard on it.
I dont know what the element/whip would look like or what freqs this was intended for. Or if I can find something for this antenna to complete it.
I have radio test equipment, so I can test it and evaluate.
I am looking for particular info on it. The shaft is flexible but certainly not a spring.
