LSSV spring mod

Have any of you that have (or tinkered with) the LSSV's done any spring mod's to increase the payload capacity? We are looking at snagging a 2004 regular cab LSSV and would like to see about adding a spring or two to beef up the rear suspension a little to increase its payload. This would be used as a small brush truck for our fire department.

Any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated!
