:? I know i'm probably letting my ignorance hang out, but can someone tell me the difference ( if there is one) between a m1008 cucv & a model cd-30903. Also a cd 10506. GL in Letterkenny has a couple cucv pickups coming up for sale & they aren't listed as m1008. they are listed as model cd-30903 & cd-10516. Also has anyone out there ever installed a milemarker hydraulic winch on a cucv. If so, how much of a chore is it & how well does it work. May the mud be good to you . Thanks B.Bailey

Those are parts of the VIN. C is for Chevrolet, D is for military 309 is the 1 1/4 ton pickup, 03 is single cab. Same stuff on the other one but the 109 is half ton (3/4 for military) and 16 denotes balzer body style.
