I am thinking of taking the antenna off of the "M1008" and switching it over to the M1009 and just running one- I admit I think the twin set-up run with rear bases do catch my eye; but I have just one antenna now and I was thinking about placing a base on the drive side rear. Any problems with entering or exiting the driver door in the captive position?

I have both antennas behind the doors and have no problems with getting in/out. For antenna placement check the tm's.

do you know part #'s of oem antenna base and antenna c/o m1009? also need dash radio mount. trying to finish finding missing components. please help! dml2 sends...

I got a antenna kit And it had everything to install it even instructions and the mounting brackets no nutcerts for me!

You can check her in the "classified's" there are usually some on Ebay, I got my two at the Findlay show and got both antenna's for $40 and bought another mount and base for I believe around $20. I would wait for a M/V swap meet or show, someone will have them

For all my radio gear i contact popacom and tbanks if they dont have it they find it and darn good guys too
