M1009 Rag Joint Removal/Replacement

Does anyone know the specs on the M1009 shaft? Is it a 3/4" DD on one end and 3/4" 36 spline on the other? I would like to just order the u-joint and fab/repair myself. I did read the Universal to Replace Steering Rag Joint thread by Sharecropper but that is an M1008 and a different gearbox.
