M1102 chassis and M105 bed. Can they be combined?

I have an M1102 with a good chassis, but the bed is wrecked. I also have an M105 trailer. Has anyone ever tried to put an M105 bed on an M1102 chassis? Thanks. This is my first post. Maybe the idea is nuts, if so, I need to know.

In theory it should work, they are both about the same width.
You may need to add mounting points of bolt it on like a pick up bed through the floor.
Mixing the aluminum frame with a steel tub may cause a galvanis reaction.
Put spacers of rubber or insulating material to keep the two metals from corroding.
