I have seen the relatively common M198 and M198A1 converter dollies, used to haul a semi-trailer behind a truck with the pintle hitch. However, David Doyle's book shows a two-axle converter dolly called the M199, uses 14.00x20 tires and rated for 18 tons.

Do any of these survive? I've never seen one, restored, on GL, anywhere. Just curious....

I know it's a while back, but are there any ways I can get pics of it?
