M35 idle races on start up

Friend of mines deuce just screams when you start it up. Don't have any history on the IP or reason why it would suddenly happen. I would appreciate. Any thoughts as to the cause or remedy. I don't believe there is air in the line but I will confirm when I'm able

Screams, high rpm? Possible oil leak. Some surge 500-1000 rpm, the remedy is to turn the fuel up a tad. Air in the line would cause hard starts. We need more info.
