Just wanting a rough quote of transporting a M35A2 from Fort Rucker, Al to Albany, GA. The truck is a runner with a jump but I have concerns recovering a truck that I've only done a -10 PMCS on before buying. I figure that for the cost of having it transported would be made up by letting it sit in the yard uninsured and unregistered for about 6 months while I go over all the important bits such as replacing all of the brake wheel cylinders and any other maintenance issues might arise. I was always taught, don't get it started if you can't get it stopped and the idea of a 13,000 pound truck with a braking system that can go south with only one wheel cylinder leaking scares me. I'd have piece of mind once I've at least made sure the hydraulic side is squared away with new parts. It's only 120 miles but there are a few underpasses along the way which might require a low boy trailer. Any quotes available? Thanks for reading.

Nobody responded so I did the recovery myself. The truck ran great but I would have felt alot safer had someone towed or loaded the truck for me. I had set in my mind that it would cost about $500 and if someone had chimed in a quote, I'd have paid for the job. The truck is safely home now, maybe next time I'll get it done the right way.
