I know a lot of questions and posts have been made about getting a new pump cause I've read through many of them, but I can't find anything about the electrical connection. I've watched video's but nobody shows anything I can find about any tips, or options on removal or installation of the plug in. The one I have that no longer works was plugged in and crimped on. Getting it off took quite a bit of prying leaving the holder mangled. I doubt the old pump has any value but it did still run, just way too slow. Once I pulled out the old plug that is part of the original in tank holder, I found it corroded and dirty up inside the connection. The electrical line and plug can be removed if a new one is available. I'm not thinking I'll have much success trying to clean out the old plug, but is that what everyone does the best they can? or has anyone found another option?
Thanks
