What is the official MPG for the A1/A2 deuce?

How do you measure rolling resistance of a tire?

the m35a2 (multi) is rated at 7.7 mpg ave
the m35a1 (gas) is rated at 6.4 mpg ave
the m35a3 (cat diesel) is rated at 7.5 mpg ave

Talking about efficiency, the FMTV M1078A1 is the replacement "deuce", below is a picture.
It weighs 17,770 lb empty!

With a 58 gallon fuel tank it has a range of 300 miles, even with 10 gallons left in the tank, this guy gets about 6 mpg.

The power plant is Cat 3116 ATAAC.
