I've got a old cj5 that needs seats. I came across a good deal on some M38A1 seat cushions so I picked them up. I've already modded the bottom cj frames so the cushions will fit but I'm having trouble with the backs. I looks like I'm going to have to fabricate a new back frame. Does the back canvas screw directly into the frame tubing on the M38A1? It would also help a bunch if I had the dimensions of the seat back ( dia of tubing, frame width, and frame height).
