Got my new to me M916 home, looking forward to hooking up and seeing what it can do. Came with the 7 speed Allison, truck is in great shape, but I am going over it with a fine tooth comb. Anyone know what the additonal canister is that is hooked up to the top of the air dryer. This dryer I believe is the Bendix AD-2. Normally that top hole is plugged, but on this unit there is an additional canister mounted on the right fender with a sindle 1/4" line to the top of the air dryer.
