I heard a thump the other night. Enough of a thump that it sent me outside at 0200 with a firearm. I didn't find anything.

I'm refreshing the paint on my HMMWV, and I noticed this (pic)

Clearly the thump was the rubber tearing and the hold down launching itself into low earth orbit, never to be seen again.

Maybe someone is parting out a HMMWV...
