I have not heard anyone else having issues with the aluminum radiator but none are on turbo Detroits that I know of, and it is 95 today.

OK,,, so I took a piece of 1" dowel and drilled a 5/16" hole in it and shoved it in the bypass hose, this should have some effect if my 2nd theory is correct.
I have to go to Beeville tomorrow, nice little 40 mile round trip, should yield some data...

Well theory #2 went down in flames, same-same runs up to 200, fan comes on and it just sits there at 200, not getting any hotter but the fan runs continuously which is not doing my mileage any good even at 22-2300 RPM, at least it is not screaming like a banshee going down the road at 70-75.
Next will be getting the OEM radiator cleaned and installed, nothing much left to point at..
The fan does cycle at 40-50 MPH but that is just too slow for Texas..
