OK, that is good to know that 3 phase circuits are working properly.

What is history on this unit you recently purchased? Have you ever seen it run properly with 1 phase 120/240 voltages before?

Have you performed the inspections recommended in the referenced thread regarding the interiors of the "AC Redistribution box" and "Control Panel box"? Any burnt, discolored, or otherwise detached wires? Any burnt/arced pins in connectors? Any components missing or looking like they overheated? Certain things need to be ruled out before specific troubleshooting can be applied.

Also, have you downloaded the TM's and begun reading them yet? Becoming familiar with the workings of the genset helps us help you. In general, how comfortable are you working on electro-mechanical devices?

Also, if you can post pictures of unit and of anything you open up it really helps. Many members here have very good acuity & awareness when things are "JDLR" as in Just Don't Look Right.

This evening I replace the output control box with one I had offered MEP002a and And the generator performed perfectly so I guess I will start by checking the diode’s on the control board But no I have not been able to download anything Yet

I'm assuming your talking about the Diodes on the A4 board...correct?

By the way, the Output Control Box is not exactly the same for MEP-002a as compared to MEP-003a. The -003a transformer configuration requires more windings going through them than the one from the MEP-002a. However, if you verified that you now had 120/240 output due to the box swap that does indicate the problem lies in your -003a's Output Control box. Whether its the diodes or the problem lies elsewhere (Wafer Switch contacts, wiring, or ?) in your -003a box is the question.

You can test the diodes or just swap in the A4 board from the -002a box to -003a box and it should tell you if that's the problem or not.

The 002 control box with the extra windings will show double the load is that not correct and I’m going to try to get to change the board tomorrow hopefully. And again I do appreciate all the help you are providing
