We have about 6-7 of these 007B’s and none of them run correctly. We’ve narrowed the issue down to the fuel pump not working. We found this out after ordering numerous amounts of other parts trying to get these things running. After we install a new fuel pump they fire up perfectly, then after running for about 10 seconds the engine runs at extremely high RPM’s and will not shut off unless we take the fuel lines off. We’ve replaced the governor thinking that would fix the issue but it did not. I know the fuel pumps have a cam shaft in them, so every time we install one we get the engine to TDC but we aren’t sure if the fuel pump itself is at TDC. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if they found a solution. Also how can you tell if the fuel pump is at TDC or does it not matter?
