Does anyone have recommendations on a maintenance stand so I don't have to bend over so much. Having the work area within arms reach, chest-high for all sides would be pretty neat. Right now it is on a trailer and inconvenient to access things. I guess I could design something from scratch but with all the smarts here, this subject has already been discussed....I just can't find the thread (probably semantics).

As a contractor, I never had a place to work of my own. I went anyplace, that needed help. After a while, I had a stool, with wheels, and simply put 5-6 pallets on top of one another and the gen set on top of that. Sometimes one less, sometimes one more. Unless you are going to do this professionally, making something permanent is kinda a waste of time.

My first thought was an ATV/SxS lift, but you would need to fabricate some crossbars to interface with the skid amd find a way to lift it onto the ATV lift.

I like the powered stand but admit the pallet idea is a lot easier on the pocketbook for something I probably won’t use much. Not sure either would be good for a test bed.
