I just measured my 802 a minute ago with no load and got these measurements.
Terminals 1 to 2 1.07 VAC
Terminals 3 to 4 120 VAC
Terminals 5 to 6 5.0 VDC
Terminals 7 to 8 69.1 VAC
With 45% load the only change was..
Terminals 5 to 6 went up to 6.8 VDC
I'm having this exact same issue on my 803a, if s1 held to start voltage is fine, once it is in run it will slowly drop from 120v down to around 90v, quad mod and fuse seem fine, I adjusted the range screw on a1 as a temp fix until power is restored here "basically like 150v but now drops to 110-120v" what tests should I do once power is restored?
Ended up having to shut it down seems no matter the range adjustment over time (20 -30 mins) it will just slowly creep back to 90v and stay there, don't want to damage electronics.
Since it's hot and can't sleep did some tests
Start up
1-2: 1.07 vac
3-4: 119 vac
5-6: 4.9 vdc
7-8: 82.7 vac
After 5 mins
1-2: 0.98 vac
3-4: 110 vac
5-6: 3.9 vdc
7-8: 82.3 vac
After 10 mins
1-2: 0.95 vac
3-4: 107 vac
5-6: 3.7 vdc
7-8: 78.7 vac
Ohm reading between 7-8 whilst disconnected from a1 is 1.2ohm flat, seemingly within spec, all connections seemed fine and tight, unit is kept indoors in controlled temperature since I've owned it everything is quite clean with no corrosion etc
It seems to continue this downward trend until about 86ish vac output and seems to stabilize there, flipping s1 to start will reset it back to normal but the "hotter/longer" it has been running the faster it drops back down to the 90 vac output range...a1 going bad after warming up?
This testing was done under no load
