Michael, the only difference would be the fuel delivery and it's adjustable.
The LDS465-2 has a different pump, fuel density comp and hydraulic head.
Maybe somebody else can chime in and confirm this for your satisfaction.
About posting in the "wrong" category, it happens all the time, it's a good thing we have alert moderators. :)

Yep, the pump is the same, fuel delivery and timing are different, but your TM will tell you how to set the pump for your application.

In the TM section here on Steel Soldiers, you can find TM 9-2910-226-34 and the LDS Troubleshooting Manual. The LDS manual has the infield method of setting the fuel rate for an LDS. The information in these two manuals will help you to set the fuel delivery and timing correct for your situation.
