Got back from California on Sat. but decided to leave the M292A2 up there instead of driving it 1,000 miles to home in NM. The tire shop I had installing my "new" tires did not have the right tubes so it took two days to get them in and install them on the truck. That only left me three days to drive it home before work so I decided not to chance it and found a storage yard to put it in.

Questions: Does anyone(D.Doyle?) know what A/C unit and heater went in the van body? Mine don't exist.

Does anyone have pictures of the leveling jacks used for the body?

Are the levers up by where the A/C and heater go used to open the panel for fresh air or??

here are some pics of it with 6 "new" shoes

OK, the levers do open the fornt bonnet vent for the A/C unit. I don't have any pics of the leveling jacks but I may be able to take one or two tomorrow. Do you have the jacks? The a/c is either a 2 ton or a 3 ton. I have the manuals around here somewhere. It also takes 2 60,000 btu multifuel heaters one on each side of the A/C. There exists an MWO on stripping the heaters out and sealing up the vents re an asbestos hazard. Try going to the TM section and downloading TM 9-2330-238-14. Remember to right click on it and save to your computer to open it. That covers the semi trailers with that body. The model you'll look for is the M313.

I have two M313s and the leveling jacks on them are in a compartment under the back doors, above the bumbers.Hard to see would think they would be there, as this looks the same as my M313s.

thanks for the info, I will look there when ever I get back up there.

is there any data plate info on the heaters or A/C units in yours?

Kenny I don't have the jacks that I know of, would appreciate the pics.

the inside paint is peeling badly so that needs re doing and the window wood is slightly warped. the breaker panel needs some attention but its all there.

I only have one heating unit left in mine. I will check to see if anything on it. When I bought it the heater was already laying on the floor and a working 220 A/C unit civilian type window unit was hooked up in it.My goal is to get both trailers cleaned up and fixed up this summer.
