Well it is not a tractor anymore I will call it my Trucktor until I pick a name for it. I got the mud flaps on today and took a few pics, they will be removed and painted. I still need to cut the drop sides down to length then all that will remain is painting.(For now).2013-06-28 925A1 Mud Flaps 001.jpg2013-06-28 925A1 Mud Flaps 005.jpg2013-06-28 925A1 Mud Flaps 006.jpg2013-06-28 925A1 Mud Flaps 002.jpg2013-06-28 925A1 Mud Flaps 003.jpg2013-06-28 925A1 Mud Flaps 004.jpg

How about posting some detailed pics of the standard hitch setup you put on. I've been thinking about doing that to my tructor for a while.

Hi rrr, I have some one my build thread 932A1 to 925A1 short bed. If you need any more let me know. It was a easy build, the hardest part was to drill a 3/4" hole on each side of the chassis. The 5/8 plate has 2 - 9/16 bolts and a 3/4" bolt on each side of the frame to secure it in place.

Is that 1/2" steel plate on the sides. Do you have any support behind the hitch at all ?
That is 5/8 plate with 2 - 9/16 and one 3/4" grade 8 bolts on each side with 4x4x1/4 tubing on the horizontal. I would guess it would be rated somewhere around 30,000lbs. it is totally seal welded not spot welded. I should have made a templet of the brackets but got in a hurry. I can remove the hitch and do that if the need arises.
