I have a 1981 M35A2 that I bought about a month ago. I finally got I running, and the fuel tank is trashed! It has pin holes all the way up to quarter size holes in it. Any help finding a replacement or advice on repairing would very much appreciated.

Your best option is an aluminium fuel tank from the M35A3.

The steel fuel tank can be cleaned and cut/patch welded; from what you are describing, you would be better off with a good used takeoff.

I have an intact one you can have for free but with the cost of the ride you'd be still better off finding one locally.

You are in VA...can you throw a rock without hitting a Deuce somewhere? :)
