Hey Gang it’s me again😬…. Hope all is well with you guys!! Welp, My 802a is leaking diesel around the top nut on what I think is an injector pump?? 🤔 I took a few pictures for you.. Can anyone assist me with this.. Should I try tightening it or are there o rings that needs to be replaced? If so what are the sizes or does anyone on here have them for purchase? Thanks in advance

Is that braided hose actually attached? In one photo the hose looks almost broken. If you can tightly fasten the hose on, great. If not, I suspect you need a new return hose. They do age, crack, and weep.. I like the spring clips as the pressure on the hose is uniform around the circumference of the hose and less likely to leak. I prefer quality hose, but yes, a diesel rated hose works.
Long thread here, if you are interested.

Yes the braided line is connected I bent it to take the picture but it is like a rubber band?

Can you elaborate on the "rubber band" question a bit?

The original hose is rubber with a woven outer cover, so stiff compared to say clear vinyl tubing that is not usually diesel compatible. Generally, if the outside woven cover is wet or weeping, the hose is cracking, but the woven cover can wick diesel a long way. If you were able to bend the hose 90 degrees to take the photo, I suspect it is past its use by date. And when you bend it sharply, old hose quite likely to crack rather than bend. Stiff To begin with and gets stiffer with age or jet fuel.

Forgive me for asking, but did you close the contactor on the control panel of the 802?

Noo, I’m still learning what and where is that contractor?
Facing the control panel, it's a switch toward the right hand side down low. It s referenced in the start up procedure. Lift up on it and make it green.

What it does is energize the main output lugs.

Be absolutely sure you have phase and voltage properly selected, and that your plug is properly connected to the lugs and grounded properly.

208 3 phase will ruin your whole day if you let it bite you. Seriously. Treat it like it might kill you. I can't emphasize this enough. There's absolutely no shame in enlisting the hands on help of someone who knows more than you do.
