Hello All,

I am trying to find a source for rubber tiedown hose. (The stuff used to tie down the cab cover. I want to get a roll to tie down the cargo cover. I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Guess I am not looking in the right spot!!

Thanks

Tom

Would that be the same old guys that used to smoke rope?
I know this is kinda off topic, but interesting too.
For the younger members, so called manilla rope was often made of hemp (as in pot, mary jane, grass, weed, etc.) which is a fast growing fibrous plant. The hemp was supposed to be treated with oils to make it hold up better & make it too noxious to smoke. In the rush of wartime demand, manilla/hemp rope was sometimes sent out with no special treatment. And yes, some guys just had to try "smokin' rope"
