just got a m1010 it's got some issues one of which is that the lower alt is junk and the upper alt doesn't seem to be putting out enough power either, it has a pair of Leece Neville 4629JA alternators but apparently they are no longer made and was wondering if anyone here knows of a good replacement that would essentially be a plug and play.

do you have part numbers for the delco ones that would work the best?

Also the Leece Neville alternators are both 24 volt 100 amp, and everything else for the 24 volt system is still fine and intact so I would prefer keeping it 24 volt.

What are your plans for the truck? If you are looking for reliability for daily use and long distance camping trips, suggest you swap over to a serpentine system from a 6.5 Chevy pickup. If you are prepared to deal with that Duvac smoke generator, stay stock.
