I have been interested in the M35A2 for a long time. I am looking for any tips and insight that you all might have to share with a first time buyer. Are some years better than others? Are certain engines to be avoided? What sorts of things shoulld I beware of in terms of older vehicles? That sort of thing. I know there is a place down by the Idaho state line that sells all sorts of surplus. Would someone like that be a good place to find one for sale or should I search out a individual (I see them on Ebay from time to time)? Are there any licensing restrictions in Washington (Oregon or Idaho for that matter)? Does my standard drivers license allow me to drive this dual axle beast? If I buy one out of stat, say Idaho, Oregon or further....in general would it be reliable enough to drive back to Washington (obviosly this is a loaded question). But in general if one is in good condition can it be driven several hundred miles without major upset?? SOooooo many questions.....

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Love the site. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Thanks.
