M1008 that's worked great forever all of a sudden has quit charging completely. Batteries are perfect, no warning lights, nothin. Just started it, drove it about 15 miles, the whole time the voltage gauge is in the red. Figured the guage must have went out, shut the truck off, batteries are dead. Slave started off a friends truck, drove home, same thing. Put new batteries in, does the same thing. That's about how far I've looked at it so far, any ideas?

After you slave started it, did you check to see if all of your lights are working properly, as in are as bright as usual... If so than your alternator is probably working and you either have a bad connection between your alternator and batteries or your voltage regulator is bad. If not than you are running solely on batteries and your alternator is likely your problem.
Good Luck,
Gator
