No turnsignals

I noticed the other day my turnsignals stopped working. Ok, so I order a new flasher from saturn. When I started to swap it, I noticed the wiring harness was rubbing on the body and had cut through one of the wires. I repaired the wire but it must have ruined my old flasher. Glad I found that before I put the new one on.

Good thing you found the problem, the new flashers don't stand an overload for very long (a few seconds perhaps). The originals from the 60's were made to withstand an overload until the CB tripped.
I added a relay so that the flasher only had to drive the relay coil and any overload/short through the relay contacts will trip the CB. Did the same for the headlights, BTW.
