Hows it going everyone. Names Brian, I live in Mooresville NC. I just picked up a 85 M1009. Got her for $1700 and needs a little work. I took out the turbo 400 and am having it rebuilt as it was slipping bad. But she has a 6" lift(says the pre owner looks bugger to me) 35" tires, I tore out the factory seats. I am installing a 02 suburban 3rd row for the rear, and front bucket seats fro ma 02 Trailblazer for my front seats. All seats have integrated belt systems so that makes it so much easier. I plan on doing a lot of work and customizing to her. She also still has the black out system which I think is cool. She should make a great mud toy as well as another DD. I am stocking up on wmo, and plan on running it also(once I get to know the truck and how it runs on D2).
But I look forward to being here and learning more.
