Mogs are a lot of fun, what do you plan on doing with yours? Hard core offroader, show room resto or 4x4 work horse?
It's not that hard to make a four door and it looks like you have two cabs so a little duck tape and wire should do it.
If you have any questions email me, I have spent more hours tinkering with my mog than I can add up.
If you are going to swap the motor make sure you do the clutch and TOB at the same time, don't ask how I know.

Hi,
I sold my Mog
(by the way, I got € 4000,- (about $ 5000,-) and I wonder why nearly dead Mogs costs so much money at the US!)
but I still have a lot of documentation.
So I have the unimog S404 documentation of the German Bundeswehr as pdf-data files, 15 / 16 / 40 Mb files...
They are german, of course, but might be helpful.
Also the parts list will be helpful, lots of pics...
So, If anyone has interest... let me know

For the same reason M35's and such fetch what we think are outrageous prices in Europe - availability.
It is no easy feat to the inexperienced to find a Mog in Europe and have it shipped over, then get it through Customs, so most will only buy one that is already here.

Add to that the fact that the 'glut' of retiring vehicles has slowed to a trickle, and the Unimog mystique...

Cheers

oh yeah just-enough - use to live east of you in Amble Mich - had an 80 acre farm over there. That is where I held a COW roast every year - BBQ'd a whole cow for helping hands inc.
