Open Element Air Cleaner

Has anyone put one on their M1009 successfully? My housing is roached and I need a new one. It seems all the commercial ones I see fit 5 1/8 cone for gassers but the diesel is larger. I have already tried driving down the street with the filter off wide open and the noise increase is negligible and doesn't bother me.

Did an advanced sewarh for "air filter" in the CUCV forum. Too many that didn't apply So I changed the search to "air breather". Much better.
