Pintle hook bolts

Fast stupid quiston.
My M35A2 had the pintle hook taken off it. I am going tomorrow to get one off a friends parts truck. I am taking a pipe wrench for the large nut that holds the pintle hook on. So...what size is the two bolts and nuts that hold the mounting bracket on?
Thanks.
One of the few, Frank

Frank,
both, nut & bolt head are 1 1/8". Eventually you'll also need: lots of pacience, WD40, a large hammer, good chisel and tools to remove the cotter pin.
Some times the only way out is to crack the large nut!

Good luck!

True, heated metal expands. The real reason the "heat wrench" technique works so well though as as the heated nut expands, it breaks the rust which is holding the parts together. Just use enough heat (a propane torch usually doesn't get hot enough) to break the rust loose. I use oxy-acetelyne and try to get the part to a dull cherry red to break them loose.
