Previous owner took the distributor cap and wires off. How do I know which wire goes with which cylinder? Original waterproof type wires and distributor.

153624 is the fireing order, bet you can find that info in the TM

Put the no 1 cylinder in the firing position, do this by putting your finger over the spark plug hole and cranking, when your finger is blown off, that is top dead center and time for the no 1 spark to occur. Open the dist, see which tower the rotor is pointing to, and attach the no 1 wire there. Then you can follow the firing order for the remaining 5 holes.
