Hi everyone. I may finally be able to get my first 2.5 ton based truck. I’ll know more this weekend when I go check it out in person. It’s supposed to run, drive, and stop. But, it’s not been driven more than about 3 miles in the past few years. So driving it home isn’t the best idea as it’s 2 hours and 139 miles away from me. Is there anyone in the Florida panhandle that could help me with getting it home if I purchase it. Or lives along the route if I need help or break down if I have to attempt to drive it? I will check all fluids, brake function and tires get insurance hopefully easily via phone call on site so I have the “vin” from the title for the insurance company and make that call if I can’t get it transported reasonably. I have a quote but it’s a lot of money on top of purchasing.
