Alright i cant take this anymore, i got me a Browning 1919A4 and realy want it on top of the crew cab (progress is being made) I will not spend 2200 bucks however (not when a 50 cal. M2/M3 kit is 2600   ) So im goona try and make my own ring and maybe a cradle. My plan was not to use complicated and expensive ball bearings however. no i got something as slipery if not more in mind. I have the plans and a company to roll the parts BUT what is the inside diameter of the thing? The hole you stand in i mean, now if you were to buy would you be interested in a larger or smaller diameter than "stock" The first few wont look like the originals at all but how many people know what one looks like anyway? Other than us and other army gurus the general public dont know the differnce. (police included)

Now does anyone have an pic's of a factory hatch? My plan is to use a huge moon roof in the crew cab, just pop, slide, and fire! But maybe mil-spec would be cooler looking.

Anyway let me know what you think and if anyone can come up with some zoomed in pics and dimensions i would be vey greatful

Or, you could just limit your fields of fire and get the cav. mount I have for sell in the classifieds for $175. Much easier to mount.
One of the few, Frank (made my 1919A4 into aA6)
