Question about Alternator rebuild kit

I got a rebuild kit from CUCV Electric and it came with one capacitor. My Alternator {pass. side} has two capacitors, one inside and one mounted outside. Anybody know which one I'm supposed to replace?

The one on the outside is a noise suppressor and has been removed on the majority of the CUCVs. It isn't needed unless you have some military radios.

The one in the kit goes inside.
