Questions on recentering new wheels...

I just picked up (8) 20" 3-Piece lock-ring wheels and (4) 20" 2-piece HEMMT's along with (8) 85-95% G20's:D
My question:
Are the 3-piece lock ring wheels worth recentering?
I know folks do it with the 2-piece HEMMT wheels, but what about the 3-piece?
I am more than capable of doing the machining and welding, but will they work correctly on the deuce, and are the lock-ring style a good wheel?
I know from experience they are EXTREMELY EASY to work on, but other than that I just don't know.

Any input is appreciated (and yes, off-road use only:wink:)

Off road or not; those 15.5/80R20 G-20's are tubeless tires, with all the advantages you can get if run TL (on HEMTT wheels, i.e.).
Why would you go back to TT-wheels and even spend $$ recentering them?

The "Lock-Ring" wheels I'm talking about ARE tubeless.
Maybe I don't know what to call them.
I know they are from Oshkosh, and almost look like a different type of HEMMT.

Ahh.. OK; now I see it, you said 3-piece lockring wheel.
Yes, TL is possible with 3-pc and that would be a valid option then, to use instead of the classic HEMTT 2-pc bolt together wheels.

Picture #1 is a 3-Piece Lock-Ring

Picture #2 is a 2-Piece HEMMT wheel

#1 is easy, thats a HEMMT

#2 I'm not so sure about... I need to compare the bolt pattern and see if they are the same.

If they are not the same, then I would like to know if they will work recentered for the deuce.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the 3-Piece Lock-Ring style are what C&C is selling with G20's; They show pictures of an A3 with this setup, but have the Lock-Ring side facing in.
It actually looks pretty clean, almost like they are a 1-Piece wheel.
This of course is only true if i've correctly identified them.

I MUST correct myself...
Photo #1 Is NOT a HEMMT wheel (not so "easy" I guess)aua
It's a 2-piece version of #2 (same off-set & hole pattern)
It's PLS Trailer wheel as well.

Now I will re-center them for the deuce, and I'm off to the races:D

I'll post some pics when I'm finished.
